1. Okay, you don't want to make a mistake and perl when you should be slipping perlwise with double knitting. Especially if you don't notice for 12 rows. If it had been regular knitting I would have frogged back to fix but I didn't have the nerve to try and recover the double knitting setup after frogging (read terror here).
So tinking on double knit is just like knitting double knit except twice as slow.
Really need to check at the end of every row for mistakes. Other wise this is going to be a double thick blanket instead of a baby sleeping bag.
But I am 17 inches through a 32 inch project!
