After working about 10 swatches to find a nice stitch in the Bluesky organic cotton, decided that since it didn't stretch simple was best. I am doing a double knit receiving blanket that I will finish off into a pocket (bind off each side seperately). It is a large version of EZ's potholder. I am using a 2ply brown/cream twist. The cotton is very fragile (it pulls apart very easily) so I knitting very loosely.
On the plus side, it is VERY soft and feels good in my lap.
Other ideas are bibs, saque/kimono, washcloth, caps and booties. Pictures to follow.
